About

From Coatesville to Downingtown, West Chester to Malvern. Neil Young was raised here, was educated here, and has spent his entire professional career teaching here. Serving in office requires knowing  and understanding the the needs of the community, and the disconnect between our leaders and the people has never been greater. Neil is running to help restore decision-making to it’s rightful owner; the people.

Neil has worked for the last 22 years as a public school history teacher and wrestling coach in Chester County. Each and every day, he can be found in his classroom helping students understand the exceptional role the United States has played in shaping our world, and how each of them has unique gifts to contribute to it. With so few young people expressing pride in our country, Neil works hard to help students understand that no other nation in history has sacrificed more for the cause of freedom, nor invested more to bring opportunity and prosperity to others than America. In doing so, Neil seeks to challenge the next generation to understand their current and future role in our republic. Whether lecturing in his classroom, training teachers in Afghanistan, or delivering student donated supplies to Ethiopia, Neil has always sought to model the idea that the most effective way to lead is to serve others.

Neil is a second-generation union member whose parents instilled compassion and hard work in him from an early age. Their lives’ speak loudly of commitment, sacrifice, and faith. All of his adult life Neil has been loved, supported, and challenged by his college sweetheart and beautiful wife, Jill. When she is not designing campaign logos, Jill can be found teaching middle and high school art at High Point Baptist Academy in Birdsboro. Neil and Jill are the proud parents of 4 children and in their free time hike the rolling hills of Northern Chester County and work to restore their 315 year old farmhouse.
